I’ve been using this app since April 2020… now, over a year later, I still use the app frequently and I simply can’t fathom how this app could ever be programmed to be more user friendly. Its definitely not as crisp and/or precise/widely varied in its utilities as a video editing program like premiere pro on a PC. But if you’ve just started to dip into the realm of video editing and you want to do it all from the comfort of your phone, this app will certainly not disappoint. It’s loaded full of so many features that I would never expect to see on a phone! What I’ve created with this app, has been the start of a really progressive career for me. I’d even go as far to say it has kickstarted my journey to achieving my dream as a content creator. I’ve since transitioned to more advanced tools, but this app gave me the confidence to step forward. I still use it for simple video edits quite regularly :)Absolutely incredible, really, a massive props to the developers of this app, thank you for allowing me to create some really great content. 11/10 would strongly recommend!

I’ve been using InShot for some years and it’s an excellent Video Editor app that is very easy to use with regular new features. The tutorials are also excellent & very easy to understand + the tutorial presenter is an excellent choice as the public face of InShot. 4 & 3/4 Stars because cutout for PIP is very good & useful though could be improved & I have one single draft edit that I spent a long time on & it won’t upload, it gets to 63% and the app crashes (I’ve taken all the recommended steps to remedy the problem to no avail.) Also would be great if I could upload music/sound effects directly from my files rather than making a clip in InShot then using that clip in iMovie to add music/sounds from my files or music & then extracting the iMovie sound for the InShot clip (Disclaimer I’m not great with all tech & perhaps I can upload files to InShot & just don’t know how to do it). I see myself using InShot for the long term. Congratulations to the developers, you make video editing easy & fun.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I went through a lot of video editing apps, a lot of horrible ones. But this one stands out. It stands out for these reasons: 1) it has in app payments if you want pro, but you can still use the app without it. InShot is not one of those apps where there is no option but pro, or that if you don’t there is next to nothing you can used. Pro is better, but you can still function well without it. This is much better than the other apps. 2) It’s not just templates. Templates are all good and well if you want to do some trend, but if you want to do your own work many apps just don’t cut it. InShot actually lets you unleash your creativity. Overall this app is great, if you want to make your own videos and unleash your creativity. I hope you found this helpful.
Super easy to use - brilliant

After putting up with a different, somewhat clunky app for way too long because I’d paid for the “pro” version years ago, I found myself in need of something better after an update rendered that app utterly useless- I’d heard mention of this app quite a lot, so decided to try it & instantly fell in love! It’s so easy to use and has so many different ways of doing things!!The only problem that I’m having is that I use an external microphone and i frequently find that having just recorded audio, that when I stop, the audio is silent there is just an empty orange bar and I have to turn off my iRig, and then turn it back on to get the app the recognise the microphone again and then re-record my audio. I am becoming frustrated to the point where I am considering cancelling my subscription and changing to different software as I rely on this for daily content creating and am losing way too much time due to this glitch.
