I purchased iFlicks 2, and after the 60 day Apple return window had passed, this app's metadata labelling stopped working, and the app kept nagging me to purchase iFlicks 3. Seems like an intentional degradation of quality to sell a new app. Since it didn't seem fair for me to have to pay for a new app so soon after purchasing the first one, I contacted the developer for a refund and mentioned so that I could buy iFlicks 3. They said 'We have cancelled the Support for iFlicks 2 since 2020.' so before I even bought the app. So they were intentionally selling an app without any support, and using it as a method to push for sales of other apps.

True, it’s quite a particular workflow that requires this level of automation and flexible power when dealing with mass metadata (*cough*youtube-dl*cough*) but there is simply nothing else that comes close.

As a version 1 & 2 Owner and only offering discount to upgrade to subscription this is a money grab exercise to get the latest features. Feeling ripped off as personally do not lioke the subscription model as unless i have a calendar with every purhchase recorded in it and know when to cancel it but i get charged fees and then mostly improssible to get fees back if i forgot to cancel.And with the price rise for version 3 i think handbrake will be the choice next time.
