Small improvements WHAT CHANGED IN 1.0.1 Nothing in how the app works. This version updates the listing details and describes Kai (section 4), an optional assistant in the workspace. 1. HOW TO REVIEW Open the app. The first screen is "Sign in to Kairo". Email: demo@kairobookings.com Password: as entered under Sign-In Information above Tap Sign in. The app opens the demo business (Luxe Hair Studio) and remembers it; later launches go straight in. Notifications are asked for after sign-in. The demo business is fully populated - three stylists, thirteen services, fourteen clients, past history and six weeks of upcoming bookings - so every screen has content. All of it is sample data: no real business or client. Calendar - tap the menu, then Calendar. Tap an empty slot to book. Clients - visit history, totals, notes. Billing - build an invoice from an appointment, record a payment. Account - "Closing your account" > Close my account: in-app deletion per 5.1.1(v), confirmed with the password and the business name. Please stop at the final button if you can: completing it really closes this demo business for later reviews. Sign out - in the menu; the app returns to the sign-in screen. There is no in-app purchase or purchase path anywhere in the app. There is no shared or user-generated content, so no reporting or blocking is needed: the only content is the business's own book. 2. PURPOSE AND AUDIENCE Kairo is an appointment book for small salons and barbershops, typically one to five staff. It gives them their own booking page, a diary built for salon work, client records with history, and invoicing. It is bought once on kairobookings.com. No subscription, no commission. This app is the free phone companion to that account: it sells nothing, links to nothing that sells, and is sign-in only. Audience: any salon, barber, beauty, nail or massage business that takes appointments. Sold publicly, not to one company or a closed group. 3. Card details never reach Kairo's servers. KAI (OPTIONAL ASSISTANT, 5.1.2(i)) "Ask Kai" is at the top of the workspace. When the AI assistant is switched on, the first tap shows "Before you start": it names Claude and Anthropic, says what is sent (what the user types and the records Kai looks up or changes for them), that it goes to the United States, and that Anthropic does not train on it. Nothing is sent until that user taps "Turn on Kai"; "Not now" leaves it off, and "Turn Kai off" is under every chat. Deleting, refunding, cancelling or sending a campaign always waits for the user to tap Confirm. When the assistant is not switched on, Kai offers built-in shortcuts only and sends nothing to any AI service. 5. REGIONAL DIFFERENCES None. English only; no feature varies by country. 6. REGULATED INDUSTRY / PROTECTED MATERIAL Not a regulated industry app and not a medical device. No health claims. Health is declared in App Privacy for one reason: a salon can type free-text notes against a client, which sometimes record an allergy or patch-test result. Australia's Privacy Act treats that as health information, so we declared it.
