Komp Create 4+

I have used this to create quite a few pieces, and it works really well. It’s all free, there are many instruments and it is easy to use. Some problems I have is that when I try to use the play function sometimes it plays random notes that are not there. Also, a way to create a new line would be great, because with long pieces you have to scroll a lot. Overall a great app. Definitely recommend.

One of the few apps that are usable for editing MusicXML. It is fairly simple but works well, making it possible to quickly enter a score with the apple pencil. The writing recognition is not as advanced as for example in Notion, but with the simple and smart UI provided I actually can enter a score more quickly in Komp than I can in any other app. You can easily import and export the music to and from this app to other apps like Notion.

It would be nice if measures would be numbered and a page layout would be another great addition, making the app more suitable as digital music viewer. I could go on and on about what would be nice to add, but again it is already quite a nice app especially given its free.

But
I have a glitch now where it won’t save anything, or I can’t access saved scores or the templates .
I have something like 20 blank piano scores open and I can convert that to violin but it won’t save so I dare not write anything I can’t complete in 1 session, then print/screenshot.
If I press the return key, which I think should send you to the templates/saved scores menu, it gives you a brief glimpse of that then swings back to the blank piano score.
I have tried deleting and re-installing, have emailed you but nada
The only help I can access are the very brief u-tube tutorials .
