In Kryss, you can experience how crosswords come alive!
Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other's imagination and vocabulary.
The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution - oldschool Scandinavian style - into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle.
You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of outscoring your opponent, including a significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round.
Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher.
Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with a classic game like Scrabble and other word games.
But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other passtime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, vocabulary training in a game, all the while being so easily accessible that it is loads of fun for both young and old.

Fun game
My family, friends & I all love playing Kryss together but the prices have increased dramatically so we have to watch annoying ads to be able to play more games. I was happy to pay when it was cheaper. We play it every morning & every night! Some words are a bit strange though. Seems to get a few glitches.
They keep increasing the prices & the ads. Even when you pay, you still get extremely annoying ads. It’s actually putting me off playing the game!
Some things still should be fixed or changed
Yes it’s a great game, but it’s not that great of a game to have to wait or pay for game boards. You would think you should get more than 3 game boards a day after watching ads non stop also. When I first downloaded the game, I got 10 game boards, little did I know that those would go down when I a friend asked me to play their game board? You would think if someone’s using their game board to play with you, that it would only come off their total amount rathe than taking away one game board each. Not to mention the game boards tend to have repeated clues in each one. I even invited a friend who signed up and never got my 10 free game boards, I also signed up through Facebook and connected but never got that game board either. I tried giving feedback through the app but took me straight back to the home page. They’ve got the idea of game right but need to fix why we are buying game boards. I just updated the app and now I can’t even play 3 at a time for free, I need to wait 3.5 hours after playing one for the next one.
No matter what you do to get more free game boards, they don’t give you them.

I love the actual game, when I get to play it. A lot of the time it freezes and you have to restart the app, and when it doesn’t there are wayyy too many ads. You have to pay to buy boards to play games (I don’t know how you can earn enough money in game to buy any without real money). And then you get an ad after you’ve had your turn every single time, often causing it to freeze again. I’d be happy to watch an ad for a board if I wasn’t forced to watch 10 ads per game. And of course there’s a banner ad while you play as well. I’d prefer the app to have an upfront cost and then maybe a premium membership if you want to have more than 5 games open at a time or something. It’s such a shame because the game is really fun (it does have some repetitive words- I’ve played about 7 games and got the same clue in 3 of them). I’ll stop playing once I run out of free boards but if there’s any updates I’ll gladly play again
