One Clue Crossword 4+

I genuinely love this game. Probably the best word puzzle game I’ve played in a long time, and it’s not repetitive, which so many other word games are. My only issue is the token system. I understand that developers of games need to make money with their product, so I’ve got not qualms in needing to 1. Pay a small fee to have the ads turned off; and 2. Occasionally buy hints to play the game, but the tokens in this game seem pointless, and there just aren’t enough opportunities to get more tokens in the game. Occasionally you can watch a video to double any tokens you’re rewarded when you’ve completed a level, but you just do not get enough of them, not when you start needing between 20-35 of them to open just one puzzle. So not only do you have to pay for the coins to use as hints, you also need to pay for the tokens to even open the different levels. But other than that the game is great. I don’t mind having to spend some cash so I can continue enjoying a game, but there’s a fine line between paying a few real dollars for hints, and then outright price gouging. The other thing I think the game could benefit from would be the ability to shuffle the letters around. As it is, the two hint options are either drop a letter for the word you’re on, or remove some letters in the letters to choose from. A shuffle function would be awesome. Anyway, yeah, great game!

This game is enjoyable and I play it daily. In recent weeks I finished the Classic portion and am now playing the Mix-up portion. There has been a serious increase in ads when playing Mix-up, I estimate 3-4 times as many ads as I did when playing Classic. The high volume is reducing my enjoyment of the game. I believe it’s definitely too many and would appreciate this being reviewed by the game makers. The need for ads is understandable as this is your income, but the quantity should be within reason.

Usually the tokens build up while you are not playing. Now they don’t build up anymore so some days I can’t even play one frame despite the many ads thrown in. Would have given higher rating if there were more tokens and not so many ads thrown in when trying to decide which frame to do next. Really like this game but is getting very boring just doing one frame every few days. Very stingy on tokens now! The amount of wasted time watching over 1 minute ads is killing this game! Should be at least limited to 30 sec max! Are there going to be more puzzles? Cut out the ads over 30sec.!

Ridiculous time wasted on ads. If not for the length and multiple ads I would enjoy this game so much more. Developers need to be more strategic and have less ads to attract more people!
