I have been playing for a long time now and never had a problem with this game until the other day when I completed the event challenge but when I got to the end and was meant to get the reward from the chest for some reason I didn’t get it, even though it claims I did. I don’t know if it is due to me not using one of the time bonuses that you get along the way though completing the change of the event or some other reason. I also have paid a lot of money to this game so I can continue playing when I run out of tokens. Also the only reason I’m writing a review instead of trying to go to support over this issue is I have tried a dozen times but it will not load anything up for me to get in contact with them, so that to needs to be fixed as well.

Don’t Bother

You’ll get hooked right in time for the puzzle token costs to go through the roof and there’s absolutely no way to get tokens in any sort of reasonable way. You’ll see the generic developer response to other reviews saying the same thing claiming there are plenty of ways to get tokens. It’s a lie. Reality is, it’ll take at least a 30 second ad to gain just one token. You’ll spend 5 minutes watching ads to get enough to play a 10 token puzzle, and those are few and far between once you’re into the game. The surveys are garbage and often don’t pay out, not to mention the ridiculous price to purchase tokens, the largest bundle of which will last maybe half an hour. You can only save up 10 tokens by waiting for time to pass which usually isn’t enough to play a puzzle. Often enough even the daily bonus isn’t enough to cover it. Developer - Don’t bother replying your generic response telling me there’s plenty of ways to gain tokens. It’s garbage and we both know it. No need to give me your politician style answer. Take one for the team and do something for the loyal customers for once. Reduce the token cost of puzzles, or make a way to gain tokens that actually works. We watch enough ads just doing puzzles anyway. I’m sure your profits will be plenty fine either way…

We're sorry to hear you've had a problem. There are multiple options to earn more coins and tokens each day, please refer to the in-game FAQ for the full list. Picture Cross has been actively supported with new content for over six years, and the monetisation options in the game allow us to do this, however we do continue to try to improve the options available. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Love this game UNTIL!

Love, love, love this game. However I refuse to buy tokens or spend money on games. I had to reset the game and start again after I was unable to finish it due to only being able to unlock 10 token puzzles. By starting with the highest value puzzles and waiting the half hour till the tokens reset to 10, I’m getting more puzzles unlocked. Loads of fun. Well done!

Edit: This game was my favourite until one day as I was nearing the end of completing all the puzzles, the game started to glitch and completely reset! I have lost my entire progress and it’s taken me back to the tutorial! Now it’s done it again! I almost completed the worlds biggest puzzle for the 2nd time and it’s reset me again back to the tutorial! What’s going on? There is no point in playing his game if this is going to keep on happening!

I downloaded the update as per instructions, but it’s just done it again! Please fix this and I will change star rating to 5. It’s a great game, but having to constantly redo game over and over again, defeats the purpose of playing it.
