The LEGO-fied version of The Force Awakens gives us exactly what we want from these games: brick-breaking action, fun puzzles and lots of goofy humor. It captures the spirit of Episode VII perfectly—super-charged by movie-cast voiceovers and the chance to play through events not shown in the film. You can try the first level for free, but that’s just the start of a magical journey.
Level blackout
Like the game but has major problem with level game play. Able to move about in open areas, even complete little side quests but cannot play any level at all. Level access is ok but only displays black screen with cutscene sound only, no picture. After cutscene sound is done, app shuts down. Super mega frustrating, so please fix this bug because I really want to play the levels, like, Now!!!
Decent, but… not as good as the PC version or any other lego Star Wars game.
I have always been a fan of lego games. Particularly the Complete Saga (9/10) as a child, and now the Skywalker Saga (9.5/10), but I did not want to have to buy the force awakens on PC, as it looked substandard - much like the movie. I found the iOS version and tried it out, to find once again having to pay. Still not wanting to pay the $8, I found everything you could possibly do in the game without purchasing anything. I could get Kylo Ren, and make my own custom character. I could complete all the level challenges with the force users and the flame trooper, but found a lack of content for those not willing to pay. Why not have the game cost $8, like lego Jurassic Park, or the Lego Batman games (on iOS)? Also, the loading screen for the x-wing flight takes far to long. All in all, I would rather buy the $40 game on PC, than spend the $8 on iOS (which I ended up doing, the PC version is great, 7.5/10). The graphics and gameplay is hugely stepped down. It would be generous to give the iOS a 5/10. TT Games should step it up from now on for iOS players.
