Thank you for your feedback. It‘s not quite true though. You don‘t have to buy a diffuser for the app to work. You can easily build one yourself in under a minute, as described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07SxrmjSqGc&cc_load_policy=1&v=watch
Unfortunately, laws of physics dictate the usage of a diffuser for any method of measuring light. But we feel that with the possibility of the one made out of paper we‘ve found a very easy solution for this issue.
