Syncing issues
I’ve been using this for over a year and love this app very much but lately (past two weeks or so) there seem to be a lot of syncing issues.
When I indicate I’ve taken a medication, the sync will initially fail and I have to re hit it at least once, sometimes two or three times.
It would also be helpful if the medications were split more clearly into ‘Things I’m taking every day/regularly’ versus ‘Things I take occasionally’. Perhaps different colours or text fonts?
For example: Iron supplement - taken daily vs paracetamol - taken for the headache I get when my app won’t sync like it used to. :)
Crucial but UNRELIABLE
Please fix bugs. I rely on this app. It regularly crashes in the middle of using it. I often have to fully log back in instead of just using pin and then sometimes it won’t log me in. Every single operation I perform it says sync failed while syncing. It does sync eventually. Sync is slow though.
After a crash: When I log back in it initially says there’s no medicines listed for me. Once I back-button to the dashboard with my name and my partner’s name then go back into medicines/reminders the info is still there. However, when going back into reminders some of the medicine details are missing while the orange ‘take’ button is still visible.
I need a good, reliable app for this stuff. I’m extremely unwell with a lot of chronic illnesses. I also care for my partner who has complex needs. I just don’t have the time or tolerance to deal with the frustration this gives me. I invested a lot of time entering all my data and continuing to maintain it accurately. It’s energy I don’t have to waste. I’ll be looking for another app now. I’m also transitioning to a pen and paper system.
I wish I could recommend it
So much potential, but so many features miss the mark. It’s great to be able to scan the bar codes of medicines – or it would be if it worked. It didn’t work for me.
There’s the requirement to create an account, but no explanation why this is required. Seriously, *why* is this required?
Want reminders to take meds? Turned off by default & good luck finding the hidden setting to turn them on. When you do find it, it’s frustrating to use: you must log in every time. With a PIN (or email if you didn’t set up a PIN at the start). No FaceID. No medication names. Just an alert and a requirement to manually enter a PIN to find out what for.
Oh, and you can’t copy & paste in this app. So if you have data in other apps and plan to copy it across, forget it. Long form entry every time.
On the positive side, it can access a large Australian database of medications. The information is local and specific. It’s the best part of this app.
This could be great. I wish I could recommend it. I can’t.
