Extremely helpful although not without bugs

This really is the future. Putting our own health records into our own hands so we have the opportunity to make more informed decisions about our health and have better conversations regarding our care with our clinicians. This is fantastic if you have opted into My Health Record and the health care providers have connected results to the My Health Record service. I just went through and browsed my blood test/liver function results!

Now for the bad. This app unfortunately is not consistent in opening these results. Often the app is unresponsive to touch when tapping on the desired test result.

Honestly, a bit pointless…

Whilst this is better laid out for navigation than the website, no information can be added or updated by the patient. The instructions from the ADHA ‘ In order to update personal health summary information, emergency contact details, upload Advance Care Planning document and manage authorised and nominated representative, you should use the My Health Record portal via myGov.’ Why is there less functionality than the web version? Updating my information is the most common reason I access my eHR. Edit: response from developer to contact customer support is generic and still doesn’t address the specific exclusion of features in the app (compared with website)
Edit 2: another generic response with a link to a survey, still not addressing the exclusion of features from the app.

Developer Response ,

Hi, please contact the 24/7 helpline at 1800 723 471 (Option 1) for further information and assistance.
Thank you so much for your feedback. The Agency is currently running a survey to further enhance the my health app. We’d appreciate it if you could complete it here "https://adhagov.info/myhealthapp_survey"

Broken scripts

I had to delete all the other possible e-script-accepting apps in order to be permitted to add scripts to this app. I should be able to choose the app from a list shouldn’t I?
Also, once added, it’s wrong. It shows as 6 remaining when it’s really 1 remaining. That’s very problematic. I already went through it with the very helpful support team but re-adding the script and reinstalling the app didn’t fix it. I hope the next update resolves this as it is pretty important.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, this issue has been caused by a bug in the system. There is a new release which will be out on 22 January 2025 that squashes this bug and will resolve the issue. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
