Description

The my health gov app is known as my health.

my health is a secure and convenient way to view key health information that you, your healthcare providers or representatives have uploaded to My Health Record. It’s fast, easy, and secure - and you can access and share it all from the palm of your hand. my health app is powered by My Health Record, an initiative of the Australian Government.

To start using my health, you’ll need:
1. a myGov account linked to My Health Record
2. to have accessed your My Health Record at least once through a web browser
For help to do this, please follow all 3 steps to set up your record online - https://www.digitalhealth.gov.au/help/set-up

my health provides easy access to key health information once uploaded, including information on health services:
• medicine information history
• pathology results, including COVID-19 test results
• proof of vaccination history and upcoming immunisations
• allergy and reactions information
• hospital discharge summaries
• advance care planning documents
• find a health service
• book a health service (where available)
• link to healthdirect Australia’s symptom checker and medicines information

More features will be added to the app over time. Help us understand how to improve it by giving us a rating and leaving a review within App Stores. Additionally, please feel free to give us feedback by email to help@digitalhealth.gov.au

Early promise

Was seeking to carry my complete health records with me as I travel OS. Unfortunately most of my history has not been uploaded by my doctors!
Surely I should be able to authorise transfer/upload from my Medicare records? But how? Where?
The user interface/design of the App is good, better than web site.
I am sure it will improve with user feedback.
My immediate Wishlist is records of my medical implants / devices to show to airport security as evidence in support of my request for hand search. EMFs from scanners affect my paramagnetic shunt/valves, contrary claims they can’t/ don’t! It isn’t the radiation, it’s the EMF generators, that cause me issues.

Hi, thank you so much for your feedback. The Agency is currently running a survey to further enhance the my health app. We’d appreciate it if you could complete it here "https://adhagov.info/myhealthapp_survey"

Honestly, a bit pointless…

Whilst this is better laid out for navigation than the website, no information can be added or updated by the patient. The instructions from the ADHA ‘ In order to update personal health summary information, emergency contact details, upload Advance Care Planning document and manage authorised and nominated representative, you should use the My Health Record portal via myGov.’ Why is there less functionality than the web version? Updating my information is the most common reason I access my eHR. Edit: response from developer to contact customer support is generic and still doesn’t address the specific exclusion of features in the app (compared with website)
Edit 2: another generic response with a link to a survey, still not addressing the exclusion of features from the app.

Good little app but limited compared to browser

It seems app is getting new features but is still limited in some other features when compared to MHR browser access. Hopefully it will get to parity on most features and will have new additional features soon. Over all very happy as I can access my information on the go via an app. Login is one other issue items as it keeps throwing me off every now and then and I have to reolink the app.
