Mitabl - “my table”, get it? - is an app and platform that connects cooks and food lovers looking for genuine home-cooked meals. mitabl sets out to boost and empower new local economies, to create a link between the local supplier and the consumer. We call them micooks and mifoodis! A micook has the option of preparing food in their own kitchen and serving it to mifoodis there, or they can provide meals to be picked up by mifoodis and taken away. mitabl is where micook and mifoodi go to connect - people who create delicious food for people who enjoy delicious food! Our mission is to build your community by creating connections through food. In doing so, we seek to generate opportunities to support new and upcoming cooks and create possibilities like never before. We are achieving our goal of boosting and empowering local economies by creating the final link between the consumer and the local supplier. For people who are interested in embracing their path in the culinary sector, mitabl introduces the idea of home cooking and sharing. We do this through • Meals cooked for neighbours by neighbours: sometimes you want the comfort of a home cooked meal but don’t have the time, skills and family nearby. micook are here to help, offering you an extension of their home through a meal or two. As a mifoodi, your also helping your micook reduce food waste, pursue their love of cooking and nurturing others through food. • At home dining experiences: Sometimes dining at home just won’t cut it, you want to get out and reconnect with the world after lockdown. We created this opportunity to allow you to connect with you micook neighbours, grow your social circles, and enrich your life and your community.
