As long as I keep my old mini iPad it's fine and still compatible...don't get me started on my new iPhone 6+ which IS NOT!
Ok finally after recent updates to iPad & iPhone in 2019, to my surprise my original Leef works again. Seems you have caught up with your software and I haven’t had to buy the 2nd product you suggested.

Update not working
I updated my iPad system to 11. Plugged in iBridge, got message to firmware update. When it was available I got it from the App Store. So, now when I plug in iBridge, message to update firmware, looping. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, same message. Update firmware loop. Aargh! It works on the USB input on MacBook pro. But I need it to work on the iPad. Thanks.😃
Postscript: received response from developer. When I plug it into my iPad, the new firmware update says it is not for mobile devices. I tried to install it, not realising it said this. It recognises my MacBook Pro. It still doesn’t work on iPad. It is not seeing any files on iBridge device. It is doing the same firmware loop.

A great device. Not cheap, but worth it... until now. Fail with IOS 11 now it doesn’t work at all... UPDATE: thanks for fixing this, the firmware worked and now I can go back to using the amazing storage device (I use it all the time). Now, just fix it so it doesn’t keep asking me to update the firmware every time I plug it in. I did already!
