Description
The My Baby WA app has been developed through a partnership between the WA Country Health Service and Health Consumers Council Australia. The app is to assist women and families to navigate the pregnancy, birth and early parenting periods- providing information that is specific for women and families in Western Australia.
My Baby WA provides pregnant women and families in Western Australia accessible and evidence based information during their pregnancy. Functions on the app include;
· All the information you need on pregnancy, birth and your baby
· A WA maternity service locator including models of care available at each service
· Week by week pregnancy information
· An interactive timeline for women to track their appointments, tests, screening and education offered to them during their pregnancy
· A baby bump photo gallery
· Noongar lullabies to play and sing to your unborn baby
· Option to fill in the Women’s Experiences of Maternity Services to Survey to provide feedback to you maternity service.
· Mum and Partner modes for pregnancy, birth and early parenting tips

App doesn’t open
Have tried deleting and reinstalling, but app doesn’t open when you tap it - it just asks if you want to turn on notifications, then doesn’t load and returns to phone home screen.
Not a great look! Hopefully it will be fixed soon because it sounded like a good idea, but this is annoying and off putting. And I probably won’t remember to update the appt, I’ll just delete.
Excellent Pregnancy App for WA Women
A really incredible app! Useful for women at any and all stages in pregnancy (from the moment you know you are pregnant to the moment you birth your baby). Provides a compilation of information about health services across WA which provide pregnancy and maternity care. Links to relevant pregnancy information in line with WA hospitals. If you are pregnant and living in WA this app should be on your phone.
Really Helpful
Such a great app tailored towards parents to be in WA! Nice and easy to navigate, and the information around what to expect at each stage and what tests may be offered is really insightful. Would definitely recommend to anyone at any stage of their pregnancy journey.
