My Muscle Chef 4+

The app is quite decent and convenient for ordering whenever you find a moment (often not when you have access to a computer). However, it strangely forces you to make Safari the main browser (on iOS) to sign in via your Apple account. Or more accurately, to get back to the app after signing in with the Apple account. This made what should be the quickest and easiest sign in option more work than creating a conventional account.

The app is ok, but they are not consistent with their payment deductions. We get notified whenever a transaction is attempted with our bank, and I received a text from Muscle Chef saying the payment failed but they didn’t even attempt to deduct the payment. The message from Muscle Chef said that they would attempt to deduct it again that same night, and again, no attempt to deduct it. The delivery has now been cancelled and we now have sort our own food again.

I then tried to get support, and they don’t answer the phone nor do they respond to the email support channel they direct people too.

Would not recommend signing up with Muscle Chef unless you’re happy with not being able to contact them, unreliable payment deductions, and missing meals all the time.

I’ve only just discovered this app and meal plan system after being a long time fan of the muscle chef microwave meals- I’m already in love with the design of the app, and it’s great to be able to test its meal-prepping design without needing to pay anything up front (like so many other meal planner apps ).

I especially love that it meal preps not only dinners and lunches, but snacks throughout the day too!
I haven’t yet figured out if there is a way to prep/purchase multiple meal bundles; I.e. subscribe to a plan that includes me and my partner. If this isn’t a feature yet, I’d love to see it!
