MyAnimeList Official 17+

So far...

Considering that this app is relatively new (I think it’s new...??) it’s pretty decent.

Having majority of the features from the website now in an app, My Anime List is simple and relatively easy to use.

After scrolling around updating my list, some “differences” were that;
✿You can’t style the list (yet ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) so you’ll be looking at the default blue and white colours (for now)
✿If you want to look further into information about an anime (for example, if you want to view the rest of a comment in a discussion section) it will redirect you back to website. Which defeats the purpose of the app. It’s slightly annoying but surely... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

These are small issues in my opinion but the simplistic look of the App and easy use of the features makes me want to update my list more often! I’m excited for more updates.

~Small idea~ Imagine every season you can change the icon of the app e.g it’s winter and the MAL logo has like snow on it. Pretty far fetched idea but I thought it was cool. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

iPad Scaling? Landscape?

I really like the app and know it’s new but if you make it able to scale for iPad and landscape mode for easier reading I would use it a lot more often than I will on my iPhone… If I can read and organise most content on the big iPad screen when I have time and then use the iPhone when I am out for quick reference/checks I would use this app all the time. Cheers.

Pc vs mobile

I’ve been using the app for almost a year now and I’ve had no complaints. I enjoy the socializing with other people as well as the base point of it idea. I did have no complaints until I saw the pc version of this and was surprised at the difference. I think it would be a good idea if you add more to the mobile version so it can keep up with the pc version

Although we continue to work on new additions, and many minor polishes are still needed, we agree with the web version having more features right now.
