Below average app for a great store
So - I’m totally in love with Myer however not so much their app. Firstly, I hate the fact my offers aren’t personalised. It’s so annoying getting offers for makeup and ladies wear when I’m a 30yo male. I reached out to customer care with feedback about this and they didn’t really give a toss. (I was thinking my settings must have been messed up; but no!). As a minimum I think it would be positive for Myer to ask their customers what kind of offers they want to opt in an out of. In my case I would un-tick the girly stuff.
Secondly - it’s annoying not being able to shop in-app. Redirecting to a web page is boring. If apps like TheIconic can master in-app shopping I’m sure Myer can pull something together.
Where there is negatives there are positives. I really like the points tracker and ability to see your spend and shopping. Another suggestion would be to add in functionality to pull a receipt.
Here’s hoping.
v4.5.0 Update
This update today is okay, but could be made better with further adjustments and enhancements clearly needed. The MyerOne Card opens now with the close X button hanging too low at the bottom of the screen to close on iPhone 11 Pro Max, can you please adjust this please. And it would be appreciated if you could Please bring back Apple Wallet support for Rewards and also to add MyerOne Card to Wallet, fingers crossed. Thanks.
Update* I don’t know if you fixed the issue internally from your end, but it all works correctly now and looks good, thanks. Also, I wanna reiterate Apple Wallet support “Please Bring it Back, it would make this app so much better, it’s what most Apple iOS iPhone users want these days. Everything in their Apple Wallets, makes your physical wallet lighter too. You’ll get 5 Stars when you implement Apple Wallet Support!!
MYER My Store, My Way....
Simply Fantastic. Myer has given its Myer One members a truely personalised experience with an easy to use application. Once logged in, provides its user with all the information that they may want to know about their shopping history provided you use your MYER one when shopping.... and with the App you have no excuse not have your card as the app is also a digital card too. As a digital card users can track purchases, plan purchasing with catalogs and promotions by tailoring to what the user wants to hear about in conjunction with their MYER one rewards card count down monitor. That illustrates to the user how many points till their next rewards card which I just love.
