Great app to learn sight reading

I’m a self-taught guitarist with zero knowledge in music theory, been playing for years, I’ve learned some chords and can play a few songs but never really understood the ‘how’s and why’s’ behind them. For years, I’ve been playing the same songs over and over again and I feel like I’ve hit a barrier and no longer improving, so I’m starting to learn a bit of sight reading and music theory to understand music better. This app is really helping me to learn sight reading, and it’s free with no annoying ads, you can even set the app to remind you of your daily practice. Thank you so much for this amazing app.

Edit: This app turned from amazing to almost perfect, when the developer updated it and decided to add some real music to practice with. I have a few ‘paid’ sight reading apps, but this is the one that I learned a lot from and uses the most, now, more than ever, this is the best sight reading app that I’ve ever used and what’s more, it’s still free! I can’t thank Ryan enough for this amazing app. May I make a suggestion for the next update? Can you please add chords, this will make it a perfect sight reading app. Even if you won’t, this app is wonderful as it is and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic note trainer as a stand alone or connected to midi

I downloaded this great app yesterday and it is so good that I’ve just upgraded to the paid premium version today. Paying for an App is something I rarely do - it is that good!!! Even the free version is completely ad-free so going to the premium version is also a way of saying a big thank you for that too.
I am 75 and I have been learning to play the piano via apps for the last 10 years. My biggest challenge (apart from lack of talent :)) has been sight reading so I decided to learn to sight read properly. This App is exactly what I need. It was a breeze to connect to my midi keyboard to play as I train, but it also can be used when away from the piano to practice just with my iPad or iPhone anywhere anytime.
Thank you very much. I love your App.

100,000!

I just reached a 100,000 notes milestone! Technically, I reached 120,000 because I accidentally cleared my stats at a bit over 20,000. I looove this app! I use it almost every day. To the creator of the app, Mr Awesome, I have a few suggestions: A bit more songs When we select chords, please add chords that make sense. When I select a grand staff, some chords are massive span too long, perhaps limit them to 7ths When we add chords to practice perhaps add some chord progressions into the mix? In grand staff practice notes can jump up and down, perhaps add some motifs and patterns like arpeggios and scaly things Please add option to practice both hands playing at the same time in grand staff If you do all of that I promise I will make it to 1,000,000!
