Description

The National Relay Service (NRS) is a government initiative that allows people who are deaf, hard of hearing and/or have a speech impairment to make and receive phone calls.

With this app you can currently make calls using the following NRS call options:
- NRS Chat – if you want to type and read your conversation
- Voice Relay – if you are hard to understand on the phone
- NRS Captions – if you can speak but can’t hear clearly
- Video Relay - if you use Auslan

COST
The app and any calls you make while using the app are free. However, the app requires an internet connection and uses data. How you are charged for this data will depend on the plan you have with your service provider.

Return key issue

In the web version of NRS chat, when you press return key on the screen or the keyboard, it sends the message to the relay officer.
However, in the app itself, pressing the return key (either onscreen or keyboard) only goes to the second line of the message box. This is highly inconvenient as you would then have to physically press the blue button onscreen to make it send message. It would be great if you could fix that key so it sends the message. We have Shift+Return for that function to go to next line. Can this be fixed?
