Slowly but surely chipping away at issues

I appreciate the continual improvements being made in this app. Sync feels like it’s getting slightly more reliable in showing you which archive puzzles you’ve already played, though I have had streaks fail because a puzzle completed on one device was not synced before I played the next day’s on a different device. Hopefully work continues in this area.

I like the visual style of dark mode but I hope the app goes all in quickly. Having the puzzles dark but menu selection light just makes this harsher when bouncing between them. Please finish creating dark variants for all parts of the app and enable iOS to automatically change it when the system setting changes at sunset.

Otherwise, the app is just as good as ever.

Have fun, feel smart on Monday

I do these every night, close to bedtime. I do Connections, then Wordle. I get the Pangram out on Spelling Bee. If I have time, and I am not yet asleep, I’ll try the Crossword. Mondays and Tuesdays are pretty snappy. Wednesdays and Thursdays are harder. At least you’ll feel smarter at the start of the week. If you’re really out of things to do on a Friday night, and there’s no shame in that by the way, have a go at the Friday puzzle. Why not. There’s always Saturday there to really test you. No shame in getting just a few clues out. It’s how we learn. I’ve started playing the one where the words connect in squiggly lines. What I’m trying to say is think back to the simple joy you felt doing a word search as a kid. That’s NYT Games for me.

Great for the brain

Ever since I heard of this I got obsessed with it. I am a kid who likes all these things. From Wordle to The Mini it is great! Some are hard for me like connections. But I feel like it makes sense because like I said I’m just a kid. Though others like strands and spelling bee are always fun. As soon as I saw it I gave up on everything else on my IPad. I heard about in 2023 when my nana and grandad came over. Sometimes they let me do it. I wish there were more games like a trivia game where you can test your knowledge on 20 questions or a book zone where you type up a book and then you can read it. I don’t know what else I can possibly talk about anymore so keep up the good work!
