Amazing!! Money saver !!
Saved hundreds on trains and was able to take busses around the UK after Contiki cancelled my trip to Scotland with them. I booked busses, and trains from London with a couple stops over night in some cities, and went all the way up to the highlands and back to London booking through Omio. Everything was really straight forward, however, I will say it’s not always straight forward. I never missed a train or a bus, but could of been close to missing one as they don’t always give you an address or directions for the platform you should be waiting on, so make sure you’re always double checking what number bus or train you’re supposed to be on!
But other than that, I ended up saving hundred by using this app, and I’m so surprised and impressed with all the travelling I was able to do because of this service! All the busses and trains I have taken where comfortable and clean. Highly, highly recommend Omio!!! ❤️
Amazing Europe Trip Planner!!!
Great app used this to plan my Europe trip. It saves you tones of time coming all 3 methods of transport. Train, bus and plane. I was doing this on individual website prior to finding this app and it look so much time. The app also finds you the best cheapest prices for your method of transport as well!! Only thing is if your not from the 5 counties that is listed you will have to convert your own currency to get the price. I am from Australia and we were not one of the ones listed. Other than that this app is AMAZING!!
Cost us $88€ extra in fair evasion penalties.
I used the app to pre purchase two tickets for 39€ from Venice- Florence Italy and it cost me an additional 88€ to purchase the correct ticket on board the train. When I purchased the tickets the dates must have reset somehow before purchase. The tickets I somehow purchased were about 14 days ahead of my planed date of travel. This was not noticed until we were on the train and well into our journey when a seating issue occurred. Luckily the conductor spoke good English and there was two spare seats left on the train. She also said we were one of several people who have been caught out like this by the go euro app. We have been told by the train company the original ticket is non refundable as the conductor “only made us pay the difference between the onboard purchase price” and the tickets I had already purchased.
