Ratings and Reviews
Easy to use and practical!
I started using Preview about a week ago after trying other apps which forced me to pay after a certain amount of time and didn’t allow me to keep posting. This app, however, shows every photo from your Instagram feed and allows you to edit, move/adjust each image to your liking and has plenty of upgrades you can opt to use if you’d like to pay, such as a hashtag finder, but you don’t need to. I feel like the app was made with the user in mind rather than the creator. I highly recommend this app to everybody who wants to plan their social media posts! My feed has never looked better.
Disappointing experience
I am extremely disappointed with this app and the false promises it made in its value proposition. My admin team and I decided to give it a try because it was advertised as being superior to other apps in its category. Additionally, their FAQ explicitly stated that if we used the premium version, we would be able to grant our teammates access for free without them needing a subscription.
However, our experience with the app was far from satisfactory. One major issue we encountered was that it wouldn't allow us to sync unless we connected our Facebook accounts. This requirement seemed unnecessary and intrusive. Unfortunately, my teammate had trouble logging in even though my account was premium.
I reached out to the app's support team via email, hoping for a quick resolution. However, it took five days of back and forth communication before they finally consulted with their supervisor. Their response was disheartening - they informed me that they had updated the app last week, and now both myself and my teammate needed to have the premium version in order to use the scheduler app on one Instagram account.
This revelation completely contradicted what was advertised on their website and in their FAQ section. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, luring customers in with false promises only to reveal hidden limitations later on.
Overall, my experience with this app has been frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this app.
They delete all of your content — BEWARE!
Despite using it for years it seems I never learn my lesson and should know by now they don’t look after their users and paid subscribers. I recently upgraded one of my accounts that had around 30 planned posts, with captions (I am a social media manager and have multiple) to a paid option, and as it’s totally useless I cancelled the plan after a month. They’re now holding my posts hostage and saying I will lose all content in the app if I don’t re—subscribe. I don’t even get to just go back to the paid version and keep to content I loaded in/ captions I added when I was using for free. I just lose everything until I pay again. This is absolute BS and an obvious ploy to force people to pay and not cancel a subscription. Actually so unethical. Fair enough losing the paid subscription perks, but losing your actual feed/ plan and posts you’ve uploaded, which is something you can do in the free version, is 🤯
