The best character sheet out there
Worth every single cent. This is honestly the best D&D character app out there. It sounds like a sales pitch to say how easy it is to use, how intuitive and aesthetically pleasing it is, but it’s all true!
Was also so impressed that I asked a question via email and was given a response mere minutes later. Sam, you’re a gem!
One suggestion...in the main list of all your character sheets, it would be pretty cool if it displayed the character image you’ve uploaded (if you have uploaded one). And also in the “Characters” sub-tab. If I’m writing down every character I see, would be cool if I could attach a little pic instead of trying to remember hem by name.

Honestly, I really like the idea about the image on the main screen. That is something that is a simple task and can be in the next update, so keep your eyes peeled! I think I am going to make a setting switch, so if you want your character image to show, you have to make sure that that setting is on (you can get to the settings by pressing the top left button on the main screen and pressing the settings gear button from the circle/bubble menu). I think I can integrate the character image a couple more places, it will definitely be more common when we get our new character sheet up and running.

I love this app and have had it for a good 5years and the value of the premium is great. It’s buggy at times but also is consitantly updated and has a active discord. Great content updates. I hope something for one dnd is created at some point

Can’t export characters without paying $15 or buying a separate app
Downloaded this app, it’s gorgeous, and went though all the steps to import content (it has its own file type, so you can’t use XMLs you may have used on other apps) and then tried to Export the character for my friend to use on her app (I’m her DM).
The app says it’s an invalid file type, but it’s really a “dm” file that can only be opened on a second, $5 app. To export from this app to another version of this app, at least one of you has to pay $15 for the pro version.
This was a deal breaker for me, but it’s a beautiful app and I hope if this isn’t a necessity for you, you’ll give it a go!

Hello Kaitlyn, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I appreciate the bug reports while you were first trying out the app and still recommending the app even though that it didn't particularly work for you. We had talked a bit in the discord channel and I wanted to reflect some of the results of that conversation here. I think you have shed light on an important piece of information that may be a bit confusing for new users. As a result of our discussion, I have tried to be more clear in the app description on the app store by explicitly listing the export between apps as a Pro feature. I have also added a section about the dm file export. The free version of the app is specifically designed for personal/local player use and works, in my opinion, very well for people that use it in that way. As with any product you make, you make decisions about what you will give away for free and what we hope provides enough value for you to want to willingly support our product/goal to be the #1 D&D app on the iOS app store. Unfortunately and understandable, in your particular use case, we weren't able to meet your specific needs. I wish you luck in finding something that works better for you and would suggest checking out D&DBeyond, Roll20, and/or Fight Club 5e as alternative products
