Description

Now updated with Maps and GPS link. With this application you can track the tidal information for ports across Queensland. It shows the Low and High Tide times and also the height in metres, along with the Sunrise and Sunset Times. Also calculated is the current tide height and the time to the next tide. No Internet access is required for tide lookups, so even if you are sitting in your favourite fishing spot or on the beach, you can still check the tides. However, to use the GPS and Map information, a data connection is required. All the major ports and surrounding locations are covered including Gold Coast Seaway, Brisbane Bar, Cairns, Bundaberg, Coolangatta, Paradise Point, Noosa Head, Urangan, Gladstone, Port Alma, Bugatti Reef, Shute Harbour, Townsville, Lucinda, Port Douglas plus many more.

Poor choice of default location

Why does a QLD tides app have Sydney Harbour as a default location? Brisbane Bar or Moreton Bay would be more appropriate.

This app used to open at the location you last viewed; it would be even better if this function were to return...

Don’t get this app

This app is a complete waste of money.
Only after purchasing do you find out it doesn’t tell you the winds!!
Now I have to get another app.
I could have bought a cheaper app with both tides, winds and moon phases.

Requires favourites

Great app but really requires a favourite or home option so you don't have to search for your local spot every time.
