Description
The easiest way to listen to Australian radio on your smartphone. RadioApp has over 350 Australian radio stations in one very easy to use app. Find local stations near you and around Australia.
* SO MANY AUSTRALIAN RADIO STATIONS - listen to live streams of local radio, news, music, talk, sport and much more. New stations are being added all the time.
* AS EASY AS LISTENING IN YOUR CAR – quickly set up your favourites and get them every time you open the app.
* CHANGING STATIONS IS SUPER QUICK - just swipe and press play to change stations. You can swipe through commercial, ABC, SBS and DAB+ digital radio stations from across Australia.
* PICKING YOUR FAVOURITES IS EASY - simply allow RadioApp to access your location or enter in your postcode, and it will display your local stations first. Select as many favourites as you like by pressing the heart button. Then swipe to flick through your list of favourite stations or browse through all stations.
* VIEW RECENTLY PLAYED MUSIC - you can view the songs that have just played on your favourite music stations.
* APPLE CARPLAY – RadioApp works in your car via Apple CarPlay.
* MORE CONTROL - you can control RadioApp & change stations via your iPhone’s lock screen, Casting, or Bluetooth speaker.
* SLEEP TIMER - Simply press play on your station of choice, go to the 'More' tab and ‘Sleep’. At the end of your nominated time, RadioApp will automatically stop playing allowing you to get your precious beauty sleep.
* ACCESS STATION APPS – Want more from your favourite radio stations? You can access your favourite stations’ apps from RadioApp.
* LOW MOBILE DATA USAGE - RadioApp uses less data than social media or streaming video. On average each station uses under 20mb of data per hour.

Ratings and Reviews
Needs improvements but better than most
Came to this app from Tune In and this is heaps better. Fast to load and the fact it reloads after a message or phone call is good. That isn't good though if you don't want it to. Needs an option to disable that. Also needs the ability to chose the audio output, don't have any way to divert the feed from a Bluetooth speaker back to the phone speaker so you can have uninterrupted listening.
Good Concept but Needs Significant Improvement
The idea of having (almost) all Australian commercial radio stations consolidated on a single app is fantastic.
Initially, I enjoyed being able to scan radio stations around the country and listen to the different music and talk programming.
Unfortunately however when the app is connected on CarPlay and you use Siri, it thinks every voice command is for Radio App and you lose hands-free access to Apple’s music app and all other audio apps.
For example, “Hey Siri, play Elton John” or even more specifically “Hey Siri, play Elton John on Apple Music”, Siri will invariably come back with “Now playing 3GG Gippsland” or some other random station. It’s infuriating to the point where I had no choice but to delete the app.
Also, there’s no option in CarPlay to add a station to your favourites using the on screen control. You are then forced to manually search for the station each time you want to find it(so take your eyes off the road), or pick your phone up while driving which is clearly unsafe.
Considering that radio is very much an in-car medium it’s striking that these issues have not yet been detected and resolved.
Finally!
Been waiting for a digital radio app but could never find one. This app is a clean and satisfying UI, you can mark your favourites and easily swipe through to change channels! Works on Apple Car Play and no ads! Best radio app on the market, hands down! Delete the rest, it has every station you could want and need.
Wish list: When Apple car play connects then auto start last station played and you can see the song title on urban hits 🙏🏼 thank you, thank you thank you!
