*Reactable Mobile* enables you not only to create your own sound tables but also to act as producer by remixing tables of fellow Reactable musicians, adding your personal touch and share it again in a seamless way.
Based on the very same audio and graphics engine as the Reactable, the mobile version brings a complete range of objects to multi-touch devices:
• Generate sound with a set of generator objects including are loop players, synthesizers, oscillators and input object.
• Modify generated sounds with a set of effect objects including wave shapers, delays, modulators and filters.

The Reactable concept is about using a modular based system for creating full songs in real time, and the control you have is very powerful. The scope is very impressive as it really gives you total control over all your sounds and the song in real time, and you can easily control all the parameters like filters, modulators, wave shapers and delay effects as you go.You start with a tempo pulse which can then run a sound generator like a sampler, loop player, oscillator or mic. You use the effects and other controllers like sequencers, LFOs or even the accelerometer to manipulate the original generated sound. You can even change the key of your work all while your song is playing.You can also record your performances, and even become part of the on-line Reactable Community, where you can also share your own song creations or re-mix other people's creations and then further share that creation. This really is a very intuitive interface for enabling amazing creative scope, everything is right there in front of you waiting for manipulation. I really can't stop using this app because it really offers easy yet detailed song creation capabilities.

As a new app this certainly has massive amounts of potential - it's very intuitive to play, the variety of inbuilt sounds is good for the beginner, and the way effects can be added and modified is very innovative (I particularly love the interface on the filter). If you could add external 'vga' or 'camera kit usb' support it would make it a great live performance tool (for DJs & VJs alike), as well as some further development of the sampler (again, if you could add external support via the camera connection kit for USB interfaces it would be very handy). A winner and worth the money!

Seriously cool app. One of the most intuitive interfaces I've seen in music making software. Definitely geared towards live performance rather than composition, and it's excellent for this. Sounds great and I love how flexible it is.Some things I'd love to see added in future versions:* The possibility of running a few more instances of the sequencer object - two is ok, but given that you can control effects as well as generators with the sequencer, even more would be sweet.* The ability for the sequencer objects to send data to two or more other objects simultaneously.* The loop player objects given the ability to, when playing synced to the tempo, stretch the loop to 0.5x, 2x, 4x, etc.....though I don't know if these are technically possible or what..Overall, awesome app, recommended!
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
Bug fixes and performance improvements:

- Fixes a bug that caused the app to crash when loading tables with extension objects.
