This app is not for the very beginner. I tried it when I knew nothing of German language and I was very confused. I went to Duolingo for 2 or 3 months (of daily practising) and came back to this app, which now I find great! I’m still in a1 level, but now I am able to understand more now that I found out that German language has a particular and different word order in sentences as opposed to other Romance languages (or even English). I would suggest this as a perfect companion or secondary source for learning more words in German language. Congrats to the developers!
