Works pretty well but please separate battery and motion notifications!
I’ve used this for a few months and it works generally well for keeping an eye on one camera. My one improvement request is please separate the notifications for motion and low battery. At the moment it is one toggle for both which is super annoying. I want battery notifications but don’t want millions of motion notifications. Please make this easy change!
Good cameras, bad app
Smart cameras need a good app to support them, but this app is so basic and lacks the functionality of other similar products, it really makes the camera ownership experience lacklustre.
The biggest issue is the inability to schedule or geo-activate “Scenes”, the camera’s different settings for “home”, “away” and other modes. Other brands like Arlo have had this feature for years, but not Reolink. This means you manually have to set your camera to home or away or other modes on the app every time you want to leave the house, or arrive home. If you live with other people it’s particularly annoying. Furthermore, the app constantly gives errors trying to make these settings, so you have to try multiple times.
I wish they’d add this because I’m at the point where I’m considering switching to a better functioning system.
Just started using impressed. Suggestion though..
Using this as a new user of Reolink cameras and this app (on iOS iPhone and iPads) - when viewing camera image in portrait mode the ‘turn on camera night light’ icon and ‘siren’ switch toggles correctly show on top of screen show - but they are NOT displayed in the more logical and natural (given camera picture aspect ratio) landscape view - could you add these on landscape view please?
