Get access to all savvy charts, wherever we have coverage. Our sailing maps have been custom-built using quality data from NOAA, UKHO and other hydrographic offices around the world to provide easy and safe sailing navigation - like a chart plotter in your pocket.
TIDE HEIGHTS GRAPH & TIDAL STREAMS
View tidal heights and streams on our tide chart. Scroll through the tidal graph to see changes in tidal highs and lows over time.
MARINE WEATHER FORECASTS
Use the weather forecast graph to scroll through days and times to see the effect on weather conditions, wind strength and direction. Use the wind icon to see a visual overlay of wind barbs!
ACTIVE TRACKING
Use boat tracking to hone in on your boat GPS location, see your course over ground (COG) and view your speed over ground (SOG). savvy navvy is essentially your nautical GPS giving you a compass heading to steer with a tide calculation!
AUTOMATIC ROUTING
Plot a sailing route in seconds with an automatic course to steer. Drop a pin to indicate your start and finish points and savvy navvy will quickly plot a route to sail taking into account wind, chart and tidal data.

We have fixed a couple of bugs and made the app easier to use. Sometimes tapping the Layers button didn't work, and when you were planning a route, you might have seen more waypoints than you wanted - now that's all in the past.

Great but only 1 issue
I really like this app it’s much cleaner boating app then any other one I’ve tried the only issue I have with it is it can’t seem to calculate any routes with a bridge going across that makes it pretty hard to plan a trip properly but if that gets fixed this would be without a doubt the best app out there

Hi - thanks for trying the app and leaving a review. We'd love to help with the bridge issue. Have you set your bridge height clearance in your boat settings? And secondly, which bridge - we can check the bridge height is encoded correctly in the app and if not, report. the Australian HO and get that corrected. Very promising
Excellent app with some neat features. I particularly like the automatic weather routing which seems to work well, although more options to customise boat performance are needed (like on Predict Wind). Multiple weather models would also be welcome (again, like Predict Wind).
The pricing needs to be more competitive. Navionics is the gold standard to beat and while Savvy Navvy has some good features that Navionics doesn’t have, Navionics is much more competitively priced.
I would like to see this app grow and provide a viable alternative to Navionics. So far this is looking very promising.

Thank you for the feedback and review, great to hear that you like what we're doing. We are looking at local as well as global data sets which will help with both tide and weather. We're working hard to constantly improve and user feedback is crucial for us to accelerate that.

Not accurate location
Generally the app doesn’t show an accurate location. I seem to be shown run aground most times at anchor.
I have spoken with tech support and had a few problems initially that they were happy to help sort.
I am only using the base model but will not be extending at the moment.
I have not been able to use for a passage despite having tried a few times, to get a location at all I have to delete and reload the app?Aqualibrium
