No music? Not worth it

This used to be one of my go-to apps: despite the interface not being great and being a bit laggy and buggy, I kept it for one reason: it had a HUGE library of music. Fake books, handwritten manuscripts, theory books, etudes that just weren’t available anywhere else. I used it daily.

Then, without warning, I had a message that they were no longer having a music library. I lost all of my saved titles, so even I wanted to try and rebuild it using another site, I’m out of luck.

This is not a great app. You’d be better off getting a Kindle or Kobo with their unlimited plans. Why suffer through an expensive, buggy interface?

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We recently made the decision to retire sheet music from Everand in order to focus on enhancing the experience with our most popular content types—ebooks and audiobooks—and delivering a more seamless and enriched platform. We're working hard to improve the reading experience our app offers, since we know this is a priority our users share with us. As part of this update, sheet music is no longer available on Everand. Some community-uploaded sheet music does remain in the Scribd library, though we understand this is not as extensive a selection. We know this is a significant change, especially if sheet music has been your favorite content in our library, and we appreciate your understanding as we continue to evolve. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by losing details about your saved list, and appreciate you sharing your experience with our team. If you have any questions or comments, you can reach our support team directly here for assistance: http://bit.ly/ios-review We sincerely appreciate the time you've spent reading with us.

Piracy website targeting small content creators

I just found a bunch of my husband and I’s work on this website, and a quick search revealed waaay more from the D&D community. I don’t mind if people share our free content—which numbers in the 100s—but sharing premium content which helps us survive as artists is just wrong. That Scribd charges users to access pirated works is even worse.

Subscription scam

Has taken my money and not cancelled despite my request to do so during ‘free trials’ period. I cannot unsubscribe myself as I am now unable to login. Suspect hacked as the email address that shows is not even mine. If I could put less than one star I would. Recommend to stay right away from it..

Developer Response ,

We apologize for any confusion. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Instructions can be found here: https://bit.ly/2UpEyYF We'd also be happy to assist with this cancellation process and investigate the account email change.
