Sewing Patterns Pro is your workspace for the entire sewing process: Collect patterns, plan projects, match materials from your stash, and document the result — all in one app. Patterns as the driving force - Build a rich pattern library with all relevant details: sizes, difficulty, manufacturer, price, notes, images, and PDF instructions. - Add “Recommended Fabrics” and “Recommended Notions” per pattern, including consumption (length/width/quantity). This makes patterns actionable: When you’re in the store, you can immediately see what to buy — and how much. - Flexible categorization: Use standard garment types or your own categories/groups, and sort in the way that fits your workflow. Materials with real value - Fabrics: Record colors, fibers, weight, width, length in stash, price, location, prewash, design, and fabric groups (e.g., denim, cotton, silk). Attach images and documents so you can recognize the fabric quickly. - Notions: Organize thread, zippers, buttons, elastic, interfacing, etc., with on-hand quantity, price, and location — and use groups so you can filter and compare. - Inventory intelligence: When a material is used in a project, the app helps adjust remaining quantities and keeps track of “consumed” vs. “left in stash.” You can also undo and return consumption if plans change. Projects that tie it all together - Create projects with status (Draft, Planned, In Progress, On Hold, Completed, Canceled), and optionally link a pattern. - Add project fabrics and project notions. You can either choose specific materials from your stash (Applied fabric/notions) or plan based on the pattern’s recommendations first. - The app clearly shows if something is missing or doesn’t match a recommendation, so you can act proactively — or mark as “prepared” if you’re intentionally deviating. Search, filtering, and fields that work for you - Search across lists and use powerful filters: free text, single/multi-select, and range values (e.g., length, weight, price, year). - Customize fields per area (Patterns, Projects, Fabrics, Notions). Choose what’s shown and in what order — the top two fields are highlighted in lists for quick scanning. - Keep master data clean: Merge duplicates so your value lists (colors, fibers, groups, etc.) remain manageable. Documentation and visual notes - Add unlimited images and PDFs to patterns, projects, groups, and materials. View, zoom, and print directly in the app. - Drag to rearrange attachments — the first one appears in overviews, giving you a quick, recognizable image. Work across devices - and get off to a great start - iCloud synchronization keeps everything up to date across your devices and prepares the app on first launch. - Import data from “Sewing Patterns” or “Sewing Patterns Lite” on the same device for a flying start. - Statistics give you an overview of how much you’ve recorded — useful for both cleanup and motivation.
