Simple In/Out is the easiest to use in/out board in the App Store. It is great for offices with people always on the go. Our easy to use interface lets you quickly set your status and get back to work. You can also configure your phone to update your status automatically based on your device's location.
Here is a quick rundown of all the great features we offer in Simple In/Out:
* Board - Easy to read and configure status board.
* Users - Admins can add or edit users right from the app. Each user can have their own information and permissions.
* User Profiles - Individual profile pages for each user. You can email, call, or text a user right from their profile.
* Automatic Status Updates - Update your status right from your pocket.
*** Geofences - Uses low-power location events to determine if you are inside the defined area. We take privacy very seriously and your location will never be tracked or stored.
*** Beacons - Uses Bluetooth to determine if you are near a broadcast point. Beacon signals can be transmitted from our FrontDesk and TimeClock apps, or you can purchase hardware from our website.
* Notifications - Receive alerts right on your device for important events.
*** Status Updates - Alerts you each time your status has been updated automatically. This helps you make sure your status on the board is up to date.
*** Followed Users - Get notified instantly when another user updates their status.
*** Reminders - Get prompted if you haven't updated your status by a specific time of day.
*** Safeties - Alerts you when other users haven't checked in on time.
* Scheduled Status Updates - Create a status update in advance.
* Office Hours - Disable Notifications and Automatic Updates when you aren't working.
* Quick Picks - Easily update your status from your recent status updates or favorites.
* Groups - Used to organize your users.

App crashes whenever I try to upload new images

Hi there, our apologies for the crash. If you email us at help@simplymadeapps.com, we’ll troubleshoot with you and get this resolved. I can offer a workaround in the meantime to make sure your images are in place.
Brilliant but needs some tweaks
We’ve been using Simple In/Out for over 2 years now, it’s brilliant - it revolutionised our evacuation drills and brought the time to evacuate, muster and account for everyone down to under 3-minutes!
However, the app randomly changes user settings:
- The settings randomly change on their own, switching off the automatic status updates (essential for the geofencing functionality) and the notifications..
- This used to only happen after each app update, the app was unable to remember who we were and would log the user out of the app meaning we’d have to log in again after each update and turn on the settings to make it work. This meant I had to create user-guides for the less savvy personnel.
- Lately though, it’s been doing it between updates, just switching settings off so it takes an audit to see who’s apps haven’t been checking them in automatically..
Please find this bug and fix it! :-)

Settings should not change on you, especially between updates. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Good but not reliable
This app has been ideal for us in many ways. But too often when someone is in the building they show as not in. For some reason they need to go in and change the settings back to what they were previously. Why? It is very annoying and makes the app unreliable.
