Simple Interval Timer (SIT) can be used for any kind of interval training, such as running, cycling, HIIT sessions (including Tabata method), stretching, etc.
SIT is exactly what you would expect. An interval timer, which is easy to set up and use. It features a nice plain design, with no unnecessary controls.
Adjust Number of Sets, Action and Break duration to your needs and you are ready to go!
On the iOS an extra switch control allows you to prevent the screen from dimming.
SIT remembers the last 5 configurations you have used. Swipe left across the Settings screen to switch to another configuration.
SIT can run in the background, while you are playing music, watching videos or doing anything else on your iOS device.
SIT Watch features the same simplicity as the iOS app while offering the same functionality, plus it will measure your heartbeat during the workout sessions. The recordings will be available in the Apple's Health app.
SIT Watch runs independently of the phone, so no need to have your phone around during your workouts (although you will need your phone during the very first time you launch SIT watch).
SIT lets you avoid any tedious set up and focus on your training!

Extra Options Please
Love the app, it is basic to use and does the job exactly how it is advertised. Just one option I would like to see that is different from other similar apps is the following option:
At the end of the final set when the timer stops the option to have the timer start to count up if you want to push that extra bit once the last set has finished.
So if I do sets of a minute work with 30 seconds rest, once the last minute work segment is done and the timer stops, it starts to count up until it is manually stoped. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for the great app!!
Great, but if only the Watch version beeped
I’d give this app five stars, but really wish the Watch version of the app beeped between intervals. I often miss the haptic notifications and would find beeping, as the phone version does, much better.
Has an annoying flaw
Great app, exactly what I need. Except if you press start on a workout, and then press stop, it continues to beep in the background of the next workout you play. Multiple beeping in the middle of a set then I realised it was the other workout which I stopped before it was finished. The stop button really only means pause, and that workout will continue again in the background when you press play on the next one.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
