Simplenote is an easy way to keep notes, lists, ideas and more. Your notes stay in sync with all your devices for free.
The Simplenote experience is all about speed and efficiency. Open it, write some thoughts, and you're done. As your collection of notes grows, you can search them instantly and keep them organized with tags and pins. Checklists can be added to your notes to keep track of your tasks. You can also share notes and publish them for other people.
Like Markdown? You can edit, preview and publish your notes using Markdown formatting.
The best way to learn about Simplenote is to try it. You'll be asked to create an account. This allows your notes to be backed up online and synchronized automatically.

Version 2.17: great app how to make it better
PROS:
Blazingly fast. It syncs between the iMac, iPad, and iPhone in seconds.
The Dark Theme makes it easy on the eyes - every app should have this option.
HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER:
Make all the tags visible so we can tap on the tags we want, so that we don’t have to type out the tags.
When searching, include tags in the results - that way, we can add a tag to help us find a note without putting it in the note itself.
Add an undo-delete button for when we delete something by mistake.
Add an icon to pin notes, instead of having to go through the options icon.
When sharing a link to the app, don’t put brackets around the link.
Change the name to SimpleNote - the capital “N” makes the name easier to read.
With checklists, allow us to move the tasks to change the order.

Simple and beautiful
The best thing about Simplenote is its simplicity! The UI is clean, easy to use and er, simple. It's easy to edit and easy to find your notes especially if you use the tags. Five stars.
Great app, please improve key commands
I used your service for many (many!) years with Notational Velocity. Now that app is no longer supported, please consider adding some of their ingenious key commands to your app.
I miss the ability to show/hide my notes app with a key command. Also pressing esc to shift focus from a note to the note list (really improves work flow).
Great app apart from lack to create/edit key commands. Please consider. Thanks.
