Good start but some problems
Has a lot of good features. Not everything has synced properly yet but will give it time. My biggest bugbear is that when manual routing, the app does not show or allow you to select any of your existing waypoints. Routing is done by you adding new waypoints on a blind map. Other apps, and the Simrad MFD’s themselves, allow you to create a route by selecting one by one from your own waypoints on the map allowing you to route between known points. Pretty much useless for planning manual routes without this ability.
Syncing is terrible
I seldom write reviews but decided to do this one because this app is so bad that it constantly froze whenever I tried to provide the feedback it asked me to give. Below is what I tried repeatedly to tell Simrad but couldn’t.
Oh, the positive? The navigation and charting (C map not Simrad) is excellent.
I have 2 x networked evo 3s and the Simrad app. The sync between them is appalling. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When my plotter syncs to the cloud it is totally hit and miss whether my phone and ipad will update. The ipad and phone routinely have different data even though both are logged into my account. Sometimes a device won't update for months. Worse, most of the time the plotter won't recognise either mobile device for a non cloud sync. I switched from Navionics because C map shaded relief is better. However, syncing is more important and Navionics worked perfectly. The Simrad app doesn't even have a sync now button. When it does sync I end up with multiple waypoints with slightly different names.
Premium price for a product which is worse than beta level. If it is not fixed I'm going back to Navionics.
Good start but lots to do
Well the latest update has finally fixed some basic issues. Still doesn’t seem to allow you to add a waypoint or fishing spot by inputting coordinates? Auto routing has been improved and is now good, waypoints display as they should. App is getting better just frustrating getting support to fix issues (bugs) in a timely manner but they are getting better.

You can also do a search or add a waypoint by putting in coordinates.
