Self-managing an NDIS plan means invoices from every support worker, claims in the NDIS portal, and paying everyone once the money lands. Sortaroo keeps all of it in one place, for the participant managing their own plan or the family member or nominee who manages it.
INVOICES IN, READ FOR YOU
Every plan gets its own address to forward invoices to, or to have providers CC. Share a PDF straight from Mail or Files to Sortaroo, or photograph a paper invoice. Sortaroo reads the amount, dates, invoice number and ABN, and you check it in a glance.
CLAIMS IN THE PORTAL'S ORDER
Every field the NDIS portal asks for, in the order it asks, one tap to copy. You submit each claim yourself. Sortaroo never logs in to your NDIS account.
PAY THE DAY THE MONEY LANDS
Record the NDIS deposit and Sortaroo matches it to the claims it covers. The pay list shows each provider's BSB and account or PayID, the amount and a reference, ready for your banking app. A notification tells you when money has landed and someone is still waiting.
THE THINGS THAT GO WRONG, CAUGHT
- Every claim's 90-day window is watched, with warnings before it runs out.
- The same invoice sent twice, or a corrected one, is caught before it becomes a second claim.
- New bank details on an invoice are held until you have checked with the worker, and a first payment to anyone is flagged.
- One screen for what needs you, most urgent first.
FOR SUPPORT WORKERS, FREE
Workers sign in with the email on their invoices and see each one received, claimed, paid by the NDIS and paid to them, for everyone they work with. They can send an invoice to a plan from their phone, too.
YOUR INFORMATION
Records are stored in Sydney and bank details are encrypted. Sortaroo never holds or moves money: you pay from your own bank. You can export or delete everything from the app at any time.
Sortaroo is independent software. It is not affiliated with the NDIS or the NDIA, and it does not submit claims on your behalf.
