The Sound Bar Controller app provides easy operation for select Yamaha Sound Bars using your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

Solid App to control YAS-209
I’ve found the app to be stable and useful. I would love to see Siri Shortcut integration to be able to power the speaker on/off, change sound modes, etc. as this would allow much greater control of my entertainment system with a single shortcut to control my TV, soundbar, lighting, and inputs.
Yas 209
I bought this sound bar last year and it worked alright for few months but then later it stopped working. We bought two at the same time and both have the same problem. When you connect to Bluetooth it plays but not when connected to TV. I changed the HDMI cable too but no luck.
Poor design
You need to swipe to the left tap on gear icon to power off unit.
Needs a total redesign.
But it does work.
