Targets the wiring of neural systems

This app is amazing. I have been using it with my clients (including adults) to help with remediation and to teach the skills necessary to develop strong readers for at least 4 years. I am a Neurodevelopment Therapist. The brain needs to use certain processes to wire to learn how to read. I work deep in the Central Nervous System with my programs and this program assists in developing visual processing as well as phonemic awareness - an essential part of processing language and sound.
The colour coding system of words highlights the speech sound choices - explicitly. It allows for visual differentiation necessary for immature systems. The visual system connects to the phonemic process cementing the neural networks required to be a good reader and speller. The scaffolded system and allows for the improvement of working memory which we know is fundamental to being a successful learner. Overall a wonderful research-based app for all ages.
