StockLight is free to download and you will be able to access key company information including historical prices, dividends and announcements for free. You can also unlock additional content by taking up a StockLight subscription.
The StockLight subscription unlocks all StockLight features. It costs $13.99 AUD per month and includes access to quantitative ratios for stocks, the News Feed push notification service, Insider Trades and all Market Filters. It can also be cancelled at any time. You can also remove ads from the app for 12 months for $9.99 AUD.
Your subscription will automatically renew each month and your credit card will be charged with the amount of $13.99 AUD through your iTunes account. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings in iTunes. No cancellation is allowed during the active subscription period.
StockLight requires an iOS version of 7 or above.

Useful
I like this app. I don’t pay for the premium content but I can still see how my stocks are performing and what my return on investment is. Very easy to read and to use and I can sync between devices. I don’t need great detail but the information I can get from the app is very useful. I recently had a problem where it no longer worked on my iPad so I sent some feedback via the app. Jason from StockLight emailed me personally the next day and after further investigation and a few more emails, sorted my problem for me. In this day and age where customer service is sadly lacking even with big companies, I was pleasantly surprised for this personal help. Well done to StockLight. Garry from Victoria.

Not bad, not great
I really like the interface and simple input mechanics of tracking your trades when creating a portfolio. The app works fast and is up to date with the most current trading pricing/news.
Issues I find with this app is when I have purchased and sold stocks (with dividends) within a *few days* I get a breakdown of the dividend payments even though I haven’t held onto the stock for months.. the dividend information sits at the top of the portfolio and I can’t disable or remove it.
Another issue I find is that when I’ve traded dozens and dozens of stocks over the weeks/months, all of those exact stocks are automatically on the home page under “following”. There is a sea of all the ticker symbols that I’ve traded and *do not own* anymore clogging up the feed.
Also the “total sales” (of all trades added up) input at the top of your portfolio is confusing as well being it’s just a random number of all the money you’ve traded with but personally I just want to focus on ROI and Win P/L so it’s not the worst thing.
This app has a lot of potential and could be better. It would be nice if you had more break down options of profit/losses charts and graphs of your winners and losers, best trades/worst losses etc. I wouldn’t recommend this app to more frequent retail traders.

Thanks for the feedback. We are currently working on a big update to the app interface that will modernise it a fair bit.
With regard to the issue about stocks that you have traded (and subsequently sold out of) being 'followed' on the home screen, that's also something that we are aware of. Separating out those two concepts (trades you have made and stocks you are following on the home screen) is quite a large technical challenge for the current stocklight implementation. It's definitely on the roadmap to be addressed however first we want to release the new app we have been working on (for over a year so far).
Regarding the dividend information and 'total sales' feedback, we'd like to investigate that in more detail. Would you be able to 'ask a question' within the app and email us from there so that can be diagnosed in more detail please?
Only new to the App…..but excellent …
While I’m only very new to the app ,I am finding it excellent to work with .Previous apps have let me down badly with support .This app appears to be personally supported rather than bot type responses .
Its pretty simple to load up ,runs multiple portfolios and substantial $ values ,number of shares and multiple purchase packages allowing priority sales of potentially higher cost packages if appropriate (ie not limited to fifo )..
It also seems to update/ refresh very quickly …providing considerable useful information over three screens with excellent portfolio default daily summaries at a glance .
