Its a growing pleasure.

I realised yesterday the Stoic program basically does for me all that I was doing individually and seperatly, that is, I had a folder for various subjects,…Sex/dreams/intuitions/negativity/ good stuf, etc. This program does it all fo me in a systemised and proffesional manner, all in one place. Not to mention all the added bonuses, suggestions etc, that come with it. The Stoic Program is helping me in ways I wouldn't have expected and I feel kind of excited about it.
I love that I can simply talk to the computer and it writes all my responses down. In this way its even helping myself speak clearer.

The only thing which I find quite annoying is I can not adjust the text fomat like usual, as with all other programs, Im confind to print which is very small, unless I adjust my computer's display to maximum magnification…apart from this, I really love the program. I bought the lifetime deal and at first I felt ripped off but as I grow with understanding of it I find I am begging to really like it :)

Almost perfect, one suggestion

Stoic substantially lowers the barrier to engaging in reflection, mindfulness and consequently self improvement. It is brilliant in this regard and few of any apps have managed to accomplish this goal in such an effective and refined manner.

I have one suggestion which I think would make the app more complete. Many of us use stoic for self-betterment generally, but also so that we can improve our performance in our work. To this end, it would be great if the app included a simple metric for work-accomplished, such as ‘number of hours completed’ or better yet an inbuilt work timer (like a pomodoro timer) so that hours can be logged and correlated to engagement in self-care. This would be very encouraging and a great addition to the overall trends section of the app.

In any case well done designing such a useful application! 5 stars.

Beautiful, calming app

Thank you so much for this app. I’m finding it a huge support as I’ve been experiencing a lot of low mood and depression. I love the design and the meditation exercise is perfectly executed... especially the prayer bowl noise that concludes each session. I would appreciate a more extensive dip into Stoic philosophy as I feel this is the standout offering of the app. More mental training exercises would also be hugely useful. I guess I’d like app to go deeper and offer even more of a challenge. One other idea: allow users to create their own category for ‘what have you enjoyed today’ as often the things I’ve enjoyed don’t fit the categories (eg. taking a walk). I am a huge fan & so grateful you made this.
