The t:simulator™ App is an easy way to explore the simple touchscreen interface of the t:slim X2™ Insulin Pump from Tandem Diabetes Care. Whether you’re a person living with diabetes, a relative or caregiver, or a healthcare provider, we make it simple to explore the t:slim X2 Pump’s features on your mobile device.
The t:simulator App allows you to simulate the following tasks, using the same steps you would use on the t:slim X2 Pump’s touchscreen interface:
• Create and name up to six different Personal Profiles with customized basal rates, carb ratios, correction factors, and target glucose levels
• Program a meal bolus, using either units of insulin or grams of carbohydrate
• Program a correction bolus by entering a glucose value
• Program an extended bolus
• Set a temporary basal rate
• Set reminder alerts
• View simulated insulin delivery history
• Start and stop simulated insulin delivery
• Set the time and date
• Deliver a Quick Bolus using either units of insulin or grams of carbohydrate

Due to the variety of sizes of compatible devices, the t:simulator App may not display the pump at actual size.

Not very useful for me.
I think the app is primarily aimed at getting you to buy the cgm. Most things I tried did not work and could not get display up for t slim without cgm. Perhaps it’s me but definitely could be more user friendly.
Great app, especially for education.
We used this app prior to getting the pump. I used it without any training/explanation and it was simple to use. You must use the password 1 2 3 to unlock it. If the screen goes to sleep, just tap the on the top edge where a silver button is.
Also used this app for training 2 teachers and 2 teacher’s aides at school. It took them 15mins to comprehend the app without ever seeing/handling it.
I find it harder to write a review than use this app🤭.
Excellent tool for pre pump start up
Please ignore all negative reviews, they are from people who didn’t follow the correct procedure.
To start the simulator, you need to tap the ‘password’ 1 2 3 buttons (this is how you will access the real pump as well). Once you ‘unlock’ the simulator, you will be able to access all areas of the pump to see what you can do with it.
An excellent pre-pump tool that has our family ready to go with the real pump.
