This app opens up the possibilities for all sorts of file editing and management of remote servers in a way that makes it easy. From this app I have been able to access my remote servers, transfer files to and from them and create and edit files while remaining in the app. I have used this app for years and love it. Highly recommended.
Great text editor, now a good Markdown editor

Textastic has always been one of the best text editors for iOS devices. With the release of version 10.5 it becomes quite a good Markdown editor as well. The ability to apply custom CSS to Markdown previews gives much better control over the final document. If you write using Markdown then Textastic is definitely worth trying.Regards,Peter
Fantastic Coding App!

I love this app so much! It has helped me to go from a total beginner in web development to be able to build full stack web apps with python and flask. I am very excited to see new features added. I love that I can now open two instances of Textastic side by side and work on them both!
Amazing product

I have never used such an easy tool on the iPad. I have never been able to edit my website on the fly with the ease I can with this app.Thank you
New: Export and Import Remote Connections
You can now export (S)FTP and WebDAV connections to a JSON file, then import them on another device or keep them as a backup.
This can be used to:
- Move connections between devices (for example, from iPhone to iPad)
- Create backups of your connection settings
- Share connection setups with your team
- Edit or create connection files manually if needed
You can find more details in the manual under “Remote Connections” > “Exporting and Importing Remote Connections”:
https://www.textasticapp.com/v10/manual/remote_servers/export_import.html
Other Changes:
- Removed the Google Drive client, as previously announced
- File > Save (Cmd-S) now always saves the currently open file, even if it was not modified
