Great content, UI needs work
I love reading the guardian’s journalism, but the massive white space down the side is such a waste on my iPad. Plus a dark mode would be good instead of everything being on a white background.
Excellent update
This latest update works really well. Articles are grouped (e.g. coronavirus, world, journal, financial) and it is easy and intuitive to move from one article directly to the next or to go back to the top view and search for the next article you are interested in. As a subscriber, I really enjoy the lack of all adverts. It is a pleasure to use.
Dodgy company I once respected
DODGY SALES — DO NOT TRUST — I respected this company for their journalism until I subscribed on their Australian website and then it turns out I was paying for UK local news and this was never made clear through the Australian website which claimed I could cancel “anytime” but when I tried to cancel the subscription through the app, it said I had to call a UK number in “business hours” (UK business hours when I’m in Australia and subscribed through their AU site), after contacting sales I have receive ZERO RESPONSE AFTER 2 MONTHS. Super dodgy company DO NOT TRUST EVER.
