Description

A brand new adventure game from Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, creators of the classics Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion! Play as five characters to uncover the surreal mystery of Thimbleweed Park -- a town where a dead body is the least of your problems.

A haunted hotel, an abandoned circus, a burnt-out pillow factory, a dead body pixelating under the bridge, toilets that run on vacuum tubes... you’ve never visited a place like Thimbleweed Park before.

Five people with nothing in common have been drawn to this rundown, forgotten town. They don’t know it yet, but they are all deeply connected. And they’re being watched.

...Who is Agent Ray really working for and will she get what they want?
...What does Junior Agent Reyes know about a 20 year old factory fire that he’s not saying?
...Will the ghost, Franklin, get to speak to his daughter again?
...Will Ransome the *Beeping* Clown ever become a decent human being?
...Will aspiring game developer Delores abandon her dreams and stick by her family?
...And most importantly: how come no one cares about that dead body?

By the end of a long, strange night in Thimbleweed Park, all of this will be answered -- and you’ll question everything you thought you knew.

In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems.

Out of this world brilliant!

I was a bit hesitant to buy the game at first due to the high price but after so many good reviews and recommendations, I decided to take the plunge and can honestly say it is worth every penny.

I love the whole point-and-click adventure style, the different backstories to all the characters, the great scenery and the 1980s nostalgic feel about it. I also appreciate how you went to the effort of providing a hint system for when you get stuck.

The only thing is, I wish the game had a more satisfying ending to it.

Modern twist on a classic genre

I played the original Monkey Island series as a kid in the 90s and still rate the games as some of the most engaging, memorable and re-playable titles of all time (and I still game a lot to this day). Thimbleweed Park was exceptional from start to finish and took me right back to those halcyon days of Monkey Island with the vibe and gameplay. Gave this game to my wife to play after I was done (her first attempt at this kind of adventure game) and she was glued to the screen for hours. Highly recommended!

Simply amazing

Ok..so I’ve now completed the game and return to say thank you for this. As a lover of LucasArts classic adventure games and point and click games in general what you have achieved with thimbleweed park is incredible. Everything about the game is wonderful and I haven’t enjoyed a game as much in many years..is it as good as the monkey island games?..maybe not quite but it’s not far off at all. Please make more adventure games!!!!
