The snapshot feature captures a still image of your video to your smartphone or tablet. View recorded video files remotely from the cameras microSD card. Need more than one user? Up to 2 users can view simultaneously and can have alert notifications sent and emails when motion is detected.

Disgraceful from Uniden
I really wanted to believe that updating the firmware will resolve the absence of notifications. So after the firmware update I had time stamp at the bottom left corner of the screen. Hmm impressive!! Reinstalled the camera from scratch. Still NO NOTIFICATIONS!!!!! If anything a new bug appeared. When you choose to delete all recorded files, the app freezes. Uniden! You have no respect for your consumers. For $149, make that times two, cause I have two cameras that I have to climb up and down the ladder for. I bought the biggest junk on the market.
Good entry- level camera
Bought one off catch to try. Records only when motion is detected. Quality of video is good for day time. Night vision quality is lower, you’ll be able to make out objects but won’t be able to recognise faces. Notifications and remote viewing works well. The app seems a bit outdated. Would be nice for a cleaner UI and include better playback functionality such as pause, fast forward, rewind and the ability to scrub to a certain time point.
Overall, happy with the purchase as it works as described.
Better than swannone
I would give it a 5 star rating if it connects all the time. But it’s camera connects better than the swannone that I also got. I used it to watch my puppy when I’m at work. I can see what mischief she’s been up to. A bit complicated to connect it first to wifi due to the fact the instruction is not clears. You just need to go to settings wifi pick your wifi before unplugging the Ethernet cable.
