With the improved UniHealth app, you can check your limits, make Extras claims and manage your membership on the go.

We’ve added loads of new features to make it easier to:

• Snap and submit Extras claims
• See your remaining Extras limits
• Check what you’re covered for
• Update personal info
• Order a new membership card
• Register a student dependant
• Find a provider.

Registering is easy!
Simply download the app and enter your membership number and some identifying details. We’ll then send you an SMS with an activation code. Enter the code and you’re done!

Terrible. Will not support submission of claims

Tried numerous things to get this app to accept claims uploading docs. I have Updated the app, reinstalled it, complained to Unihealth. Asked to give screenshots but is just a simple error message ‘cant process this right now- try again later.’
Driven back to emailing receipts with longwinded forms to complete; which is hugely timeconsuming…
The reviews show this is not a new problem- is anyone from Unihealth listening?

Infuriating - especially given cost of insurance

This app is beyond terrible. The app locks you out after a pasword change - so you need to login to their website where you can only claim for limited services. I am at the point where I’ll now have to go and download the paper forms, due to so many errors with this app. I can’t be only one…it averages one star for a reason!

Terrible

This app is such a stupid waste of time. Every time it updates you have to authenticate it again, a family only has one password so I have to get my husband to log in to his email to use it, and there’s a ridiculous extra authentication where they send a number to my HUSBAND’S phone. Takes ages. Stupid and infuriating. Needs better design.

Hi, sorry about your experience using the app. The authentication steps are needed for security reasons and as there’s one membership number for a family, there can only be one password linked to the membership number to log in. If your husband is the primary member, the code will be sent to his phone number.
