With the improved Teachers Health app, you can check your limits, make Extras claims and manage your membership on the go.
We’ve added loads of new features to make it easier to:
• Snap and submit Extras claims
• See your remaining Extras limits
• Check what you’re covered for
• Update personal info
• Order a new membership card
• Register a student dependant
• Find a provider.
Registering is easy!
Simply download the app and enter your membership number and some identifying details. We’ll then send you an SMS with an activation code. Enter the code and you’re done!

This Teachers Health app update features a number of fixes and enhancements, including improved visibility of pending claims (claims which you’ve submitted, but have yet to be processed by the team).
Ratings and Reviews
Digital Membership Card
I find the app fairly basic, claims and check balances. Is it time for us to have a digital membership card so that it can be tap and go rather than old school plastic card?? Other health insurers have them, Bupa and Medibank as an example.
Teachers Health
Despite the poor reviews I downloaded the app. Once I’d found that the new password I had just registered didn’t work I tried the one I had always used on line. Success! I had put in a new one as I thought it needed to be done. Maybe that’s why so many reviewers had no success.
Easy to use.
Just downloaded and set up for my father. App is very easy to use, has all his history so, I can check things. Making a claim is either upload a pdf file or take a photo.
