I’ve labored for six weeks with this app connected to a Kogan smart watch Active II I reckon I know this app inside out. At first, I couldn’t enable notifications and this was really annoying me. The most annoying part is the fact that the font size on the app and the watch is simply too small. With a little more thought for older eyes with a bigger font, this would be great.

As it is, the Kogan watch at $50 does 90% of what the $650 Apple watch does with heart, oxygen and a raft of exercises to choose from. And notifications can be enabled for SMS, email, weather and music control. You can’t answer calls but they can be declined. I’ve just bought another watch for my wife. With a bigger font for the app and watch face, I’d give this 5 stars. This is value, fun and easy to use eventually.

I decided on the watches for an Easter present for the kidlets and got myself one as well.
I’m day 2 in.. charge is holding and not impacting on my mobile significantly either, although I naturally don’t live on my phone.
No issues with the connection unless I walk to far away from my phone. But links the moment I’m close to it.

i have sent through a few improvement/suggestions, how here’s some more for the designer of the program
Can we add in a temperature check, make the apps on the watch itself look more “real/detailed” rather than cartoonish?

Down fall... every time you move your hand/arm that is wearing the watch The watch counts this as a step..... I am laying in bed typing a message and somehow added an extra 161 steps in... Amazing skills I have considering I didn’t get off the bed..
It’s Absolutely amazing if you love looking at the end numbers but when you look at the end reality result ... things are not what what they seem..

3.5 stars for now.. some improvements needed but I like it so far :)

***** update from 5 days later. The watch keeps struggling to sync the data to my phone and then I have to restart BOTH my phone and the watch for it to join and the Bluetooth won’t connect.. also the sleep from from one night to a morning, adds the data date to that Mornings (day) record instead of the Night day before data. It’s very confusing.. I’ve also lost a days data somewhere ? star changed to 2...*****

It sufficiently tracks, my sleep, heart rate, and much more. The app is also very user-friendly. This app has many useful functions I have found it and the watch very useful and practical. But the only reason I didn’t give it five stars it’s because sometimes the data takes a very long time to update some time it doesn’t even update until the afternoon. Also the sleep analysis doesn’t take in to account how many hours you’ve slept for. It only rates your sleep from bad to okay to good to excellent based off how much deep sleep and rem cycle you have. But overall I would say that it’s still worth it. The app is good and the watch hardy and practical.
