WorkJam 4+

Punch in times.

Whenever you punch in or out it’ll pop up “go to settings to turn on location” meanwhile my location is already on and so you have to use the provided tablet at the store to punch in instead. This is time consuming when if I’m elsewhere in the store ready to punch in on my phone WorkJam app and then having to go to the tablet instead because sometimes it’ll be work sometimes it won’t.

Cannot do simple, simple things.

This is one of the most frustrating apps on my phone. I have repeatedly had issues with messages not showing up, notifications for messages that I have read weeks ago, and the most frustrating of all: the downright *inability* to use the punch clock in the app. I have tried everything, and for weeks now I constantly get a message that suggests that I haven’t given this app any location access. This, of course, is ridiculous. WorkJam has access to my precise location constantly, and I have set that in settings in an attempt to get rid of these messages. I’ve logged out and back in, deleted and reinstalled the app, force quit countless times, and yet nothing works. On top of all this, the app is slow, buggy, and generally just frustrating to use. The UI needs a lot of work to make things easier to navigate, and something needs to fundamentally change to get this app to run better. I have a 14 Pro Max, for god’s sake. This should run flawlessly, and yet it doesn’t. The only reason I gave WorkJam two stars instead of one is that responding to shift offers in the app (that’s *if* I get a notification for them) is more convenient than responding to them at work.

Decent app but could give us API

I believe this app has a heap going for it, I do however believe that this app should give developers the tools necessary to build tools off it, in my opinion all shifts should be able to be exported to iCloud Files as a .csv or .json automatically and or manually so people can make use of the shortcuts app and parse data into the calendar app, I believe that if you guys can convert the dates to a UNIX time stamp that would suffice, and whatever you guys could bring to the table to make use of the widget system, like upcoming shift times dates, I guess if you just do the first thing with exporting the shift data to files someone else could just make a widget off it easily using a 3rd party app. I would give this app a 5 star rating if you could give us more control of the data :)
