FIND
Map View: Bright and clear under all lighting conditions, our beautiful maps give you a bird' s-eye view of locally available hotspots.
AR View: For the first time, you can see precisely where hotspots are using World Wi-Fi's Augmented Reality (AR) viewer. Using your phone camera, the App displays available hotspots in the real world. Simply walk towards the Wi-Fi.
Offline Maps: Download light-weight offline maps before you travel so you can always find your way to get online.
CONNECT
Quick Connect: World Wi-Fi gives you clear guidance on how to connect to your chosen Wi-Fi hotspot. A few clicks and you're online.
SECURE
Protected Access: Secure your identity and browsing activity on every Wi-Fi connection. Your own Virtual Private Network (VPN) encrypts your data and protects you from snooping.*
Credit Card Not Required: Pay for the World Wi-Fi service once securely within the App using your iTunes account.
* Note - VPN connections are not allowed in some countries. The App will not connect via VPN if prohibited by local laws.

It works ! Finally
Ok I have been trying to get this app to work in Sydney for a few weeks now. The technicians have finally got it humming. You can connect to wifi spots that show up on a map on your screen It is literally two clicks and you are using free wifi as you walk around town. The best feature is that you do not have to fill out questionnaires or Facebook logins etc, it just connects instantly.
This is a real winner and I am looking forward to using it overseas in the near future. Hopefully it will work just as well and I can then use the World phone app on the back of it. The world phone was brilliant in Japan once I had installed a locally purchased data only SIM card.
Travelled the Netherlands
Did not work once. I tried this and ended up giving up. Not once did a connection point work. Ended up connecting easier via cafes and other free wi fi places. Was of money.
